Road De-Restriction Signs from Armco
Armco Signage is the company that is now the chief producer of South Africa’s road signs. In 2008 our parent company, Armco Superlite (Pty) Ltd, acquired the signage company Nameplate Centre, which was then acknowledged as being the leader in the South African road signage industry. The company has now been re-branded as Armco Signage, and is a valued supplier of road signs both within South Africa and in our neighbouring countries. The company makes a completely comprehensive range of all road traffic signs available in South Africa including regulatory signs, warning signs, direction signs and tourist signs. Some of the road signs we produce are known as selective road restriction signs, but just as there are selective road restriction signs, so must there also be road de-restriction signs. These signs are used to depict the end of a restricted zone, and so road de-restriction signs can be seen at the end of a highway as a blue rectangle depicting a highway, but with a large red cross through it.
Armco Signage manufactures a wide range of road warning signs including road de-restriction signs in accordance with specifications laid down in legislation by various government departments or according to our clients’ specifications. We supply road de-restriction signs to municipalities and other organisations throughout South Africa and internationally. You’ll find a comprehensive pictorial depiction of our range of signs on our web page under the products tab.
